15 Best Localo Alternatives

Localo suits one location well and stretches at scale. 15 alternatives compared on price, trial and contract.

Localo publishes its prices in euros plus VAT. The figures below are its own, converted to the dollar rates it shows US visitors. Checked August 2026.

Short answer

Localo is simple, affordable and pleasant to use for a single location. Most people looking for an alternative have grown. Once you are running several locations, or client accounts, you need portfolio level features that a tool built around one business does not have.

Why businesses look for Localo alternatives

  1. Built around one location

That focus is why it is good. It is also why it stretches once you have five or fifty.

  2. Agency work needs more

Client grouping, white label reporting and a portfolio view are the features that decide whether an agency can use something.

  3. Bulk work at scale

Anything that has to be done per profile stops being viable at around five locations, whatever it costs.

  4. Reporting for clients

A report a client can read on a fixed cadence is what agencies buy. That is a different requirement to a dashboard for your own shop.

What Localo is genuinely good at

Localo has the clearest interface here for someone who does not do this for a living, and it does not pretend to be an agency platform.

  • Simple and quick to get going with.
  • Priced for a single location rather than an portfolio.
  • Free tools you can try in a browser.

If those are the things you need most, Localo may well be the right answer and you can stop reading here.

The 15 alternatives, one by one

Ordered by what a two to five location business actually pays, since that is the gap you fell into.

1

Local SEO Tool

This is us
Price
$16 at 1 location, flat $37 for 2 to 7, $5.33 each from 8
Trial
Three day free trial
Terms
No contract, cancel any month
Where it wins
  • All 42 tools on the single plan. Nothing sits behind a higher tier.
  • Priced per location only. Adding your team costs nothing.
  • Starts at one location, with no minimum location count.
Where it does not
  • Newer than the names below, so there is less third party review history to read.
  • Not an enterprise procurement product. If you need a named account manager and a signed MSA, the enterprise vendors are built for that and we are not.

If you are leaving Localo. Your problem is the two to five band, and that band is our flat $37 a month whether you run two locations or seven. One location is $16, and from eight it is $5.33 each. We are newer than Localo though, so there is less independent history to read on us.

2

BrightLocal

Price
Track $39, Manage $49, Grow $59 per location per month
Trial
14 day free trial, no card required
Terms
Monthly or annual, annual saves up to about 26 percent
Where it wins
  • Long established, widely used, and a lot of people already know how it works.
  • A genuine free trial with no card, which most of this category does not offer.
  • Strong citation and audit tooling.
Where it does not
  • Features are split across tiers. Listings sync starts at Manage and review management only arrives on Grow.
  • That means the tools most local businesses actually want tend to sit on the most expensive plan.
  • Cost climbs with location count. Grow at 50 locations is listed at $449 a month.

If you are leaving Localo. BrightLocal charges per location, so adding your second and third site raises the bill in steps you can see coming instead of one jump. Track is $39, Manage $49 and Grow $59 per location per month. Review management only arrives on Grow, so budget the top tier if reviews matter.

3

Local Viking

Price
Single $39, Starter $59, Pro $99, Agency $149, Enterprise $200 a month by listing count
Trial
No free trial advertised
Terms
Monthly
Where it wins
  • Geo grid tracking and GBP posting together at a low price.
  • White label reporting on the higher tiers.
  • Straightforward pricing by listing count.
Where it does not
  • Credits for keywords and grid scans cap how much you can actually run.
  • No free tier, so you commit before you try it.
  • Narrower than a full local SEO platform.

If you are leaving Localo. Here is the middle step Localo does not sell. Starter is $59 a month and covers ten GBP listings, so two to five locations costs less than half the Pro plan you were quoted. There is no free trial though, so you pay for a month to find out, and scans run on credits.

4

Local Dominator

Price
Lite $39, Advance $59, Pro $97, Powerhouse $197, Enterprise $399 a month, credit metered
Trial
Seven days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual
Where it wins
  • White label reporting on every tier, which most competitors reserve for higher plans.
  • Low entry price.
Where it does not
  • Credit based, so the sticker price is not what heavy scanning actually costs.
  • Add ons on top. An AI tracker at about $49 per site and a citations builder at about $35 per location.

If you are leaving Localo. Advance is $59 a month for five GBP profiles, which covers your whole two to five problem for well under half of Localo Pro. Credits are the tradeoff. That plan includes 10,000 a month and grid scans eat them by size and frequency. White label reporting starts at $97.

5

Semrush Local

Price
Local Base $30, Local Pro $60 per location per month, billed annually
Trial
Seven days, card required
Terms
No minimum term
Where it wins
  • Sits inside a toolset a lot of marketers already have open.
  • Listing management and review tools on the higher tiers.
  • Map rank tracking included as credits.
Where it does not
  • Listing management only arrives on the higher tiers.
  • Rank tracking runs on credits, so heavy scanning costs more than the headline.
  • You are buying into the wider Semrush account model, which is a bigger commitment than a local tool.

If you are leaving Localo. Semrush Local is $30 per location per month on Base, billed annually, so three locations lands at $90, between the two Localo plans you were stuck choosing from. Two catches. Listings and review tools only start on the $60 Pro tier, and map rank tracking runs on credits, so heavy grid scanning costs more.

6

Whitespark

Price
Rank tracker from $25 a month. Reputation from $79. Managed GBP service $497 a month
Trial
Varies by product
Terms
Monthly
Where it wins
  • Genuinely good at citations, which is what they are known for.
  • The rank tracker is inexpensive and covers unlimited domains and locations.
  • Real local SEO expertise behind the products.
Where it does not
  • Separate subscriptions rather than one login, so costs and logins add up as you add jobs.
  • No single place where rank, reviews and profile health sit together.

If you are leaving Localo. Whitespark's rank tracker starts at $25 a month and covers unlimited domains and locations, so your location count stops driving the price completely. That solves the exact thing that pushed you out. Reviews are a separate $79 product though, so a full replacement means two subscriptions and two logins.

7

Uberall

Price
Not published. Quote on request
Trial
No free trial
Terms
Annual agreements
Where it wins
  • Built for large portfolios and wide publisher networks.
  • Strong on listings distribution across many directories at once.
Where it does not
  • A 25 location minimum, so smaller businesses and growing chains cannot buy it at all.
  • No published pricing and no free trial, so evaluating it means booking a sales call first.
  • Add ons for posting, local pages and messages sit outside the base packages.

If you are leaving Localo. Uberall will not sell to you at all. It has a 25 location minimum, so a two to five location business is not a customer. There is no published price and no trial either, which is the opposite of the published, no card start you had with Localo.

8

Birdeye

Price
Not published. Reported at $299 to $449 per location per month
Trial
30 days, but on single modules only, not the platform
Terms
Annual, and it auto renews unless you give 90 days written notice
Where it wins
  • Deep review and messaging feature set, and it is well regarded by the businesses that use it.
  • Wide integration list into CRM and practice management systems.
Where it does not
  • Reported onboarding fees of $500 to $1,500 per location before the platform sends a single review request.
  • A 12 month auto renewing contract with 90 days written notice to cancel.
  • Integration fees of $500 to $2,000 reported for connecting a CRM or POS.

If you are leaving Localo. You balked at $149 a month. Birdeye is reported at $299 to $449 per location per month, so three locations lands in four figures before onboarding fees that are also reported. The contract is annual and auto renews unless you give 90 days written notice. It is the wrong direction for this problem.

9

Yext

Price
Self serve $199 to $999 per location per year. Larger deals quoted
Trial
No self serve trial on the enterprise path
Terms
Annual billing only, typically 12 or 24 month minimum commitments
Where it wins
  • The widest publisher network in the category.
  • Built for large, complex portfolios with governance requirements.
Where it does not
  • Annual billing only, with 12 to 24 month minimum commitments.
  • Mid market deployments are commonly quoted in the tens of thousands per year.
  • You are largely paying for listings distribution. Rank tracking and review workflow are a different shape of product.

If you are leaving Localo. Yext prices per location per year from $199 on the self serve tiers, so adding a location never triggers a tier jump. What replaces it is commitment. Billing is annual only with 12 to 24 month minimums, and you are mostly buying listings distribution rather than the geo grid tracking Localo gave you.

10

Moz Local

Price
Lite $20, Preferred $30, Elite $40 per location per month
Trial
No open ended free tier
Terms
Monthly or annual, annual saves up to about 25 percent
Where it wins
  • Simple, cheap and good at the one thing it does.
  • A trusted name with a long history in SEO.
Where it does not
  • Listings focused. It is not a rank tracker, a review workflow or a reporting suite.
  • Extra data aggregators cost more on top, and are limited to the higher tiers.
  • You will usually end up buying something else alongside it.

If you are leaving Localo. Moz Local prices per location at $20, $30 or $40 a month, so your bill rises one location at a time and never jumps a tier. The catch is scope. It covers listings and citations only, so the map grid and profile work you had in Localo would have to be bought elsewhere.

11

Local Falcon

Price
Credit packages from about $25 to $200 a month
Trial
Credit based, so you can start small
Terms
Monthly
Where it wins
  • The geo grid reporting is excellent and it is what they focus on entirely.
  • Credits mean you can start very cheaply if you scan occasionally.
Where it does not
  • Grid tracking only. No profile management, no review workflow, no listings.
  • Credits mean the cost scales with how much you scan, which is hard to budget when scanning grows.
  • You will need other tools alongside it to do the rest of the job.

If you are leaving Localo. Local Falcon meters. Packages run from about $25 to $200 a month in credits, so with three locations your bill tracks how often you scan rather than how many profiles you own. Scope is the limit. It does grid tracking and nothing else, so posts, reviews and profile audits all leave with Localo.

12

Synup

Price
Solo $49 for one location, Premium $299 to 10, Pro $499 to 25, Scale $899 to 50
Trial
14 days, no card
Terms
Monthly, or annual at 20 percent off
Where it wins
  • Built with agencies in mind rather than retrofitted for them.
  • Listings distribution and reputation in one place.
Where it does not
  • Two costs rather than one. A base plan and the band your location count falls into on top.
  • The real monthly figure is hard to work out until you know your location count.
  • Demo led rather than something you can just try.

If you are leaving Localo. Synup has the same cliff you are running from, only steeper. Solo covers exactly one location at $49 a month, and a second location moves you to Premium at $299. Agent work is also metered in credits on top of the band, so the plan price is not the whole bill.

13

SearchAtlas

Price
Starter $99, Growth $199, Pro $399, Agency $999 a month
Trial
Seven days
Terms
Month to month
Where it wins
  • Covers general SEO as well as local, so it replaces more than one tool.
  • Seats and projects included rather than charged per location.
Where it does not
  • Priced by seats and projects, so a multi location local job is not what the pricing is shaped around.
  • Local is one part of a much wider product, and depth varies.

If you are leaving Localo. SearchAtlas starts at $99 a month, which sits between your two Localo prices, but it counts sites and seats instead of locations. Local sits inside a wider SEO suite and GBP automations are capped per plan, three a month on Starter, so multi location posting pushes you up tiers on quota.

14

GMBapi

Price
$16 per location at one location, falling to $4.50 each at 201 and above
Trial
14 days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period
Where it wins
  • Genuinely cheap per location at scale.
  • A two week free trial and a free version.
  • Setup and support included.
Where it does not
  • Focused on GBP management and reporting rather than the whole local SEO job.
  • Pricing is built around large portfolios, so the value case is weaker at a handful of locations.

If you are leaving Localo. GMBapi charges $14 per location per month at two to ten, so five locations is $70 and the cliff disappears. Cancellation is stricter than Localo though. It only works after your third month and needs a month of notice, and the citations add on costs about $27 more per location.

15

RightChoice.AI

Price
Solo $20 and Business $30 a month. Agency is $6 per profile
Trial
Seven days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual, two months free on annual
Where it wins
  • AI led approach to local SEO and profile work.
  • Newer product, so it is built around how search works now.
Where it does not
  • No published pricing at the time of writing, so comparing cost means asking.
  • Less independent review history than the established names.

If you are leaving Localo. This is the plan Localo skipped. Business covers up to five business profiles for $30 a month, or $25 billed annually, and geo grid scans are included at the base level. AI writing runs on a credit balance, and the prices load from the vendor by country, so confirm the currency at checkout.

Where GMBAudit fits, and where it does not

Going from one location to two should not move you onto agency pricing. A middle step is not a hard thing to offer, and its absence is what sends people looking.

So it is one plan with all 42 tools on it and no feature held back for a higher tier. One location is $16 a month, two to seven locations is a flat $37 however many you add inside that range, and from eight it is $5.33 each. Three day free trial, no card, no contract.

For the jobs people are usually comparing here, that means managing every profile in one place, a portfolio view of every client and bulk edits across locations sit on the same plan, rather than across three subscriptions or three tiers.

Where it is not the answer
  • Newer than the names below, so there is less third party review history to read.
  • Not an enterprise procurement product. If you need a named account manager and a signed MSA, the enterprise vendors are built for that and we are not.

Four questions worth asking before you switch

Question four is the whole story here. Price the tool at the size you will be next year, not the size you are now. Our own answers are on the pricing page.

  1. What is on the plan you can actually afford?

Not what is on the website. Open the pricing page and check which tier holds the feature you are buying this for. In this category it is often not the entry one.

  2. What is the minimum, and the notice period?

A minimum location count decides whether you can buy at all. A notice period decides how long a bad decision lasts.

  3. Can you try it before you commit?

A trial answers the only question that matters, which is whether your team will use it after month two. A demo does not.

  4. What will it cost at the size you are growing into?

Per location pricing compounds. Work out the figure at double your current locations before you sign anything.
