We built the audit we kept doing by hand.
Every local SEO engagement starts the same way. Open the profile, work through the fields, write down what is missing. We got tired of doing that in a spreadsheet.
What this is for
Most profiles are not losing to a stronger competitor. They are losing because somebody set them up in an afternoon four years ago and nobody has opened them since.
That is not a marketing claim, it is what the field by field breakdown keeps showing. Empty service lists. Categories chosen at signup and never revisited. Hours that disagree with the website. None of it is difficult, and almost all of it goes unnoticed because nothing tells you.
So the tool does the noticing. It compares a profile against what a finished one of that type contains, orders the gaps by what usually matters, and tracks whether closing them changed anything.
What we will not tell you
That an audit score is a Google ranking factor. It is not. Google publishes no such score, and anybody presenting one as official is selling you something.
That fixing a profile guarantees a position. Nothing guarantees a position, and a provider willing to promise one is setting up a conversation they will lose in about four months.
That we can get bad reviews removed. Some qualify for removal under policy and most do not, and the honest answer to a real complaint is a reply rather than a report.
How we think about measurement
A number that cannot be traced is not a measurement. Every figure here comes from something you can look at yourself, and where a figure carries a caveat we would rather state it than have you find it later.
That extends to what we do not measure. Proximity decides a great deal in local search and you cannot change where you are. An audit that implied otherwise would be flattering and useless.
It also means keeping your history exportable. Data you cannot take with you is data you are renting, and that is worth asking of any provider before you have a year invested in one.
Questions people ask
Who is this built for?
Local businesses auditing their own profiles, and agencies auditing other people's. The work is the same; the volume is not.
Do I need an account to audit a profile?
No. You can audit without one. The paid plan adds tracking over time, which is what tells you whether a fix worked.
Is the audit score official?
No. It is our comparison against what a complete profile of that type contains. Google publishes nothing of the kind.
Can I export my data?
Yes, including the history. We would rather you test that early than discover the answer when you leave.
