15 Best SearchAtlas Alternatives

Local Rank Checker

SearchAtlas prices by seats and projects, which fits general SEO better than multi location local work.

SearchAtlas publishes monthly pricing only. The annual discount widely quoted elsewhere is reported, not confirmed on its site. Checked August 2026.

Short answer

SearchAtlas is a broad SEO platform with local as one part of it. That is the reason to buy it and the reason people look elsewhere. Pricing is built around seats and projects rather than locations, so a business with twenty branches is buying a shape of product that was not designed for that problem.

Why businesses look for SearchAtlas alternatives

  1. Priced by seats and projects

That works for an agency doing general SEO. It fits awkwardly when the unit you actually manage is a location.

  2. Local is one part of a wider product

Breadth is the selling point. Depth in any one area, including local, varies as a result.

  3. Multi location is not the shape

Bulk profile work, per location reporting and portfolio views are what multi location businesses need, and they are not what a general SEO suite optimises for.

  4. Paying for what you will not use

If you only want local, a large part of the platform is cost you carry without touching.

What SearchAtlas is genuinely good at

The breadth is real. Site audits, keywords, backlinks, content and profile work under one subscription is a lot of ground for $99.

  • Covers general SEO as well as local, so it replaces more than one tool.
  • Seats and projects included rather than charged per location.

If those are the things you need most, SearchAtlas may well be the right answer and you can stop reading here.

1

Local SEO Tool

This is us
Price
$16 at 1 location, flat $37 for 2 to 7, $5.33 each from 8
Trial
Three day free trial
Terms
No contract, cancel any month
Where it wins
  • All 42 tools on the single plan. Nothing sits behind a higher tier.
  • Priced per location only. Adding your team costs nothing.
  • Starts at one location, with no minimum location count.
Where it does not
  • Newer than the names below, so there is less third party review history to read.
  • Not an enterprise procurement product. If you need a named account manager and a signed MSA, the enterprise vendors are built for that and we are not.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Our answer to your three stacked bills is one line: $16 at a single location, a flat $37 covering two through seven, then $5.33 each from eight up. All 42 tools included, no posting quota. If you needed backlink research and site audits too, SearchAtlas covers ground we do not.

2

Semrush Local

Price
Local Base $30, Local Pro $60 per location per month, billed annually
Trial
Seven days, card required
Terms
No minimum term
Where it wins
  • Sits inside a toolset a lot of marketers already have open.
  • Listing management and review tools on the higher tiers.
  • Map rank tracking included as credits.
Where it does not
  • Listing management only arrives on the higher tiers.
  • Rank tracking runs on credits, so heavy scanning costs more than the headline.
  • You are buying into the wider Semrush account model, which is a bigger commitment than a local tool.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. This is the direct fix for an allowance of three automations a month. Local Base at $30 per location includes an AI agent that publishes profile posts, replies to reviews and adds photos, plus geo grid credits. Read the extras first: listings and review generation start at $60, and users cost $20 each.

3

BrightLocal

Price
Track $39, Manage $49, Grow $59 per location per month
Trial
14 day free trial, no card required
Terms
Monthly or annual, annual saves up to about 26 percent
Where it wins
  • Long established, widely used, and a lot of people already know how it works.
  • A genuine free trial with no card, which most of this category does not offer.
  • Strong citation and audit tooling.
Where it does not
  • Features are split across tiers. Listings sync starts at Manage and review management only arrives on Grow.
  • That means the tools most local businesses actually want tend to sit on the most expensive plan.
  • Cost climbs with location count. Grow at 50 locations is listed at $449 a month.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Cost becomes one number per location per month, $39 on Track, $49 on Manage, $59 on Grow, with nothing metered on top. You still pick a tier, and review management waits until Grow. The consolation is a 14 day trial with no card, double the seven days you got.

4

Whitespark

Price
Rank tracker from $25 a month. Reputation from $79. Managed GBP service $497 a month
Trial
Varies by product
Terms
Monthly
Where it wins
  • Genuinely good at citations, which is what they are known for.
  • The rank tracker is inexpensive and covers unlimited domains and locations.
  • Real local SEO expertise behind the products.
Where it does not
  • Separate subscriptions rather than one login, so costs and logins add up as you add jobs.
  • No single place where rank, reviews and profile health sit together.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Here you swap one confusing bill for several plain ones. Rank tracking runs $25 a month, reputation $79, and the managed profile service $497 if you want the posting done for you. Each is a flat figure with no quota to exhaust, though each is also its own subscription and login.

5

Local Dominator

Price
Lite $39, Advance $59, Pro $97, Powerhouse $197, Enterprise $399 a month, credit metered
Trial
Seven days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual
Where it wins
  • White label reporting on every tier, which most competitors reserve for higher plans.
  • Low entry price.
Where it does not
  • Credit based, so the sticker price is not what heavy scanning actually costs.
  • Add ons on top. An AI tracker at about $49 per site and a citations builder at about $35 per location.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Careful here. You would be buying the same three layer structure you are leaving: a plan tier, credit metered scans with top ups from $100 per 10,000 credits, and add ons including a citations builder at $35. Pro at $97 covering twenty profiles with white label is genuinely cheap.

6

Synup

Price
Solo $49 for one location, Premium $299 to 10, Pro $499 to 25, Scale $899 to 50
Trial
14 days, no card
Terms
Monthly, or annual at 20 percent off
Where it wins
  • Built with agencies in mind rather than retrofitted for them.
  • Listings distribution and reputation in one place.
Where it does not
  • Two costs rather than one. A base plan and the band your location count falls into on top.
  • The real monthly figure is hard to work out until you know your location count.
  • Demo led rather than something you can just try.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Nothing sits behind a tier wall here. Every feature is on every plan, so no monthly automation allowance decides what you can do. The catch is band pricing at the edges. Solo covers exactly one location at $49, and a second location moves you straight to Premium at $299.

7

Uberall

Price
Not published. Quote on request
Trial
No free trial
Terms
Annual agreements
Where it wins
  • Built for large portfolios and wide publisher networks.
  • Strong on listings distribution across many directories at once.
Where it does not
  • A 25 location minimum, so smaller businesses and growing chains cannot buy it at all.
  • No published pricing and no free trial, so evaluating it means booking a sales call first.
  • Add ons for posting, local pages and messages sit outside the base packages.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Uberall goes the other way on transparency. There is no published price, no trial, and a 25 location minimum, so most readers here cannot buy it. Worse for you, Google and Apple posting sit in paid add ons outside the base package, which is the same layering you are trying to escape.

8

Birdeye

Price
Not published. Reported at $299 to $449 per location per month
Trial
30 days, but on single modules only, not the platform
Terms
Annual, and it auto renews unless you give 90 days written notice
Where it wins
  • Deep review and messaging feature set, and it is well regarded by the businesses that use it.
  • Wide integration list into CRM and practice management systems.
Where it does not
  • Reported onboarding fees of $500 to $1,500 per location before the platform sends a single review request.
  • A 12 month auto renewing contract with 90 days written notice to cancel.
  • Integration fees of $500 to $2,000 reported for connecting a CRM or POS.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Reviews here have no monthly automation cap, which is the ceiling you keep hitting. The trade is your billing freedom. SearchAtlas bills month to month, while Birdeye runs annual agreements that auto renew unless you give 90 days written notice, at a reported $299 to $449 per location.

9

Yext

Price
Self serve $199 to $999 per location per year. Larger deals quoted
Trial
No self serve trial on the enterprise path
Terms
Annual billing only, typically 12 or 24 month minimum commitments
Where it wins
  • The widest publisher network in the category.
  • Built for large, complex portfolios with governance requirements.
Where it does not
  • Annual billing only, with 12 to 24 month minimum commitments.
  • Mid market deployments are commonly quoted in the tens of thousands per year.
  • You are largely paying for listings distribution. Rank tracking and review workflow are a different shape of product.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Predictable, certainly. Yext publishes self serve rates of $199 to $999 per location per year and holds them there. You buy that certainty with annual billing and a 12 to 24 month minimum, and the money goes to listings distribution rather than the profile posting you were rationed on.

10

Moz Local

Price
Lite $20, Preferred $30, Elite $40 per location per month
Trial
No open ended free tier
Terms
Monthly or annual, annual saves up to about 25 percent
Where it wins
  • Simple, cheap and good at the one thing it does.
  • A trusted name with a long history in SEO.
Where it does not
  • Listings focused. It is not a rank tracker, a review workflow or a reporting suite.
  • Extra data aggregators cost more on top, and are limited to the higher tiers.
  • You will usually end up buying something else alongside it.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Twenty dollars on Lite, thirty on Preferred, forty on Elite, per location, and that is the whole invoice apart from extra data aggregators at $4 each on the upper tiers. Nothing posts to your profile or answers reviews though, so the work you were capped on is not in this box at all.

11

Local Falcon

Price
Credit packages from about $25 to $200 a month
Trial
Credit based, so you can start small
Terms
Monthly
Where it wins
  • The geo grid reporting is excellent and it is what they focus on entirely.
  • Credits mean you can start very cheaply if you scan occasionally.
Where it does not
  • Grid tracking only. No profile management, no review workflow, no listings.
  • Credits mean the cost scales with how much you scan, which is hard to budget when scanning grows.
  • You will need other tools alongside it to do the rest of the job.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Heatmaps were probably the part of SearchAtlas you actually used. Local Falcon does that one job and does it well, from about $25 to $200 in credit packages. Be honest about the shape though: credits move with how often you scan, and profile posting and reviews live somewhere else entirely.

12

Localo

Price
Single Business $49 a month, or $39 billed annually. Pro $169, or $149 annually
Trial
14 days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual, no minimum term
Where it wins
  • Simple and quick to get going with.
  • Priced for a single location rather than an portfolio.
  • Free tools you can try in a browser.
Where it does not
  • Built around a small number of locations, so it stretches at scale.
  • Not the tool for an agency running dozens of client portfolios.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. One profile costs $49 monthly or $39 billed annually, half your Starter plan, with prices quoted plus VAT. Watch the seat math, since Single Business includes a single optimization seat and a released seat only frees up at the next billing date. Two to five locations pays Pro at $169.

13

Local Viking

Price
Single $39, Starter $59, Pro $99, Agency $149, Enterprise $200 a month by listing count
Trial
No free trial advertised
Terms
Monthly
Where it wins
  • Geo grid tracking and GBP posting together at a low price.
  • White label reporting on the higher tiers.
  • Straightforward pricing by listing count.
Where it does not
  • Credits for keywords and grid scans cap how much you can actually run.
  • No free tier, so you commit before you try it.
  • Narrower than a full local SEO platform.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Posting is the main event here, not a rationed extra. Bulk profile posts, spintax so listings do not go out identical, recurring posts and scheduled grid scans, priced by listing count from $39 for one to $200 for seventy. No trial though, and the pricing page now runs under the Local Optics brand.

14

GMBapi

Price
$16 per location at one location, falling to $4.50 each at 201 and above
Trial
14 days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period
Where it wins
  • Genuinely cheap per location at scale.
  • A two week free trial and a free version.
  • Setup and support included.
Where it does not
  • Focused on GBP management and reporting rather than the whole local SEO job.
  • Pricing is built around large portfolios, so the value case is weaker at a handful of locations.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. Seats are the quiet win. Starter gave you one user and Growth three, while GMBapi includes unlimited colleagues and charges only for locations, $16 at one falling to $4.50 at 201 and up. Check the exit first, since cancellation is allowed after the third month with a month of notice.

15

RightChoice.AI

Price
Solo $20 and Business $30 a month. Agency is $6 per profile
Trial
Seven days, no card
Terms
Monthly or annual, two months free on annual
Where it wins
  • AI led approach to local SEO and profile work.
  • Newer product, so it is built around how search works now.
Where it does not
  • No published pricing at the time of writing, so comparing cost means asking.
  • Less independent review history than the established names.

If you are leaving SearchAtlas. The AI search visibility tracking you liked survives the move. RightChoice watches ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude mentions from $20 a month covering two profiles, or $6 per profile on Agency. Limits are real though. Solo tracks twenty keywords on Maps only, and syndication reaches Bing plus twenty odd directories.

Where GMBAudit fits, and where it does not

Three pricing systems stacked on each other means nobody can tell you what next month costs. That is a design choice, and it is the one people leave over.

So it is one plan with all 42 tools on it and no feature held back for a higher tier. One location is $16 a month, two to seven locations is a flat $37 however many you add inside that range, and from eight it is $5.33 each. Three day free trial, no card, no contract.

For the jobs people are usually comparing here, that means grid rank tracking, managing every profile in one place and white label reporting sit on the same plan, rather than across three subscriptions or three tiers.

Where it is not the answer
  • Newer than the names below, so there is less third party review history to read.
  • Not an enterprise procurement product. If you need a named account manager and a signed MSA, the enterprise vendors are built for that and we are not.

Four questions worth asking before you switch

Question four is unusually hard to answer with metered pricing, which is rather the point of asking it. Our own answers are on the pricing page.

  1. What is on the plan you can actually afford?

Not what is on the website. Open the pricing page and check which tier holds the feature you are buying this for. In this category it is often not the entry one.

  2. What is the minimum, and the notice period?

A minimum location count decides whether you can buy at all. A notice period decides how long a bad decision lasts.

  3. Can you try it before you commit?

A trial answers the only question that matters, which is whether your team will use it after month two. A demo does not.

  4. What will it cost at the size you are growing into?

Per location pricing compounds. Work out the figure at double your current locations before you sign anything.

SearchAtlas questions

How much is SearchAtlas?

Starter is $99 a month, Growth is $199 and Pro is $399, with annual billing saving about 20 percent. Higher tiers add seats and project limits.

Is SearchAtlas good for local SEO?

It covers local as part of a wider SEO platform. If you want general SEO and local in one subscription that is a real advantage. If you only want local, you are paying for a lot you will not open.

Does it price per location?

No, it prices by seats and projects. That is the mismatch for multi location businesses, where the unit you manage is a location.

What is a local first alternative?

Local SEO Tool prices per location and does local only, at $5.33 per location per month. BrightLocal and Semrush Local are the other local first options.

Should I run both?

Plenty of agencies do. A general SEO platform for the site work and a local tool for the profiles is a reasonable split if the budget allows.

All 42 tools. One plan. No contract.

$16 at 1 location, flat $37 for 2 to 7, $5.33 each from 8, with a three day free trial and nothing held back for a higher tier.
