An independent look at SearchAtlas: what it does, what it costs, what users actually rate it, and how it compares with GMBAudit.

Pricing checked August 2026 against the vendor’s own page where it publishes one.

Quick verdict

OTTO edits your live site. GBP work is quota capped.

The pitch worth paying for is OTTO, an agent that pushes title tags, schema and internal links onto your live site through a script instead of filing recommendations. Buy it if you run client websites and want audits, keywords, content and ads in one subscription. Think harder if your unit of work is locations, because GBP automation is capped at three actions a month on the $99 Starter plan and plan tiers, per site OTTO rates and metered top ups stack into three separate pricing systems.

What is SearchAtlas?

SearchAtlas is a full SEO platform covering keyword research, content, technical audits, backlinks and local, with an automation layer across the top.

The reason agencies buy it is consolidation. One subscription instead of three or four tools, with local as one part of the coverage rather than the focus.

That breadth is the trade. You get a lot for the price, and depth in any single area varies compared with a specialist tool.

Our rating: 3.9 out of 5

Capable as a broad SEO platform. Local measurement is one module rather than the focus, which shows against dedicated tools.

Our own assessment, not an average of user reviews. Scored on price transparency, minimums, how much of the job one purchase covers, and how easily you can leave.

SearchAtlas pros and cons

Pros
  • OTTO applies title tags, schema and internal links to the live site through its script, so fixes do not wait on a developer.
  • One subscription from $99 to $399 covers site audit, backlinks, keyword research, rank tracking, content, GBP work and ads automation.
  • Per site OTTO pricing steps down to $69 per site at 4 to 9 sites and $49 at 25 to 99.
  • One to one onboarding is included even during the seven day trial, which helps with a suite this broad.
Cons
  • GBP automations are quota capped at three a month on Starter, ten on Growth, twenty five on Pro and a hundred on Agency.
  • Three pricing systems overlap. Plan tiers, per site OTTO volume rates, and metered top ups for AI points and heatmap scans.
  • OTTO delivers its changes through a script layer between your site and crawlers, which some in house teams and security reviews refuse.
  • White label appears only from Pro at $399 a month, four times the Starter price, and there is no free tier at all.

SearchAtlas ratings and user reviews

PlatformRatingBased on
Capterra4.7 / 585 verified reviews, confirmed on the platform
TrustpilotNot foundNo published score located
SoftwareAdviceNot foundNo published score located

The Capterra score of 4.7 from 85 reviews is a genuine signal and we confirmed it directly. Reviewers rate the breadth and the automation. The criticism that matters for local buyers is not quality, it is that the product is shaped around projects rather than locations.

Checked August 2026. We do not publish a score we could not confirm, which is why some rows say not found.

How SearchAtlas works

  1. Set up a project

The unit is a project rather than a location, which is the structural difference.

  2. Run the audit

Technical and content issues surfaced for the site.

  3. Add keywords and tracking

    Including local tracking where relevant.

  4. Work the recommendations

The automation layer is the differentiator here.

  5. Report to clients

White label reporting across every area at once.

How GMBAudit compares

SearchAtlas runs plan tiers, per site rates and top ups at the same time. Ours is one number per location.

All 42 tools sit on the single plan, priced per location rather than per seat, and the numbers are on the pricing page rather than behind a call. The tools page lists every one.

Where we are not the answer
  • Newer than the names below, so there is less third party review history to read.
  • Not an enterprise procurement product. If you need a named account manager and a signed MSA, the enterprise vendors are built for that and we are not.

SearchAtlas FAQs

What is an OTTO project, and do my five client sites count as five projects?

OTTO SEO projects are counted per site. Starter includes one, Growth two, Pro four and Agency ten, so five sites sit above Pro. Either move to Agency at $999 a month or buy OTTO per site, where four to nine sites is $69 each. The page shows monthly rates only. An annual discount is reported but unconfirmed.

Does OTTO actually change my website, or does it just tell me what to fix?

It changes it. OTTO applies title tags, meta descriptions, schema and internal links to the live site through a script integration, with no developer ticket. The trade is that the script sits between your site and crawlers as an ongoing third party dependency, which some enterprise security reviews will not sign off.

Is three GBP automations a month enough on the $99 Starter plan?

Not for active profile work. Starter includes three GBP automations a month, Growth ten and Pro twenty five, so posting and review volume pushes you up tiers on quota. If your unit is locations rather than websites, Local SEO Tool charges $16 for one location, a flat $37 for two to seven and $5.33 each from eight up.

What are AI Gen points and Hyperdrive credits, and when do I have to buy more?

They are the metered part of the bill. Content generation runs on AI Gen points and top ups cost $19 per 500. Hyperdrive credits top up at $99 per 100, which is $0.99 a credit. Heatmap scans are metered too, so running out mid month means buying credits on top of the plan.

Does the seven day SearchAtlas trial need a credit card?

The documentation disagrees with itself. The vendor's own blog says no card is needed and you can cancel any time, while a major software directory listing says a card is required, and the pricing page states neither. Check before signing up. There is no free tier, and one to one onboarding is included even on trial.

All 42 tools. One plan. No contract.

One location is $16 a month, two to seven is a flat $37, and from eight it is $5.33 each. Three day free trial.
