Smart tasks
# A short list of what to do next, for every location.
Not another dashboard of numbers to interpret. A weekly list for each profile, ordered by what matters most, written so anyone on the team can pick it up and do the work.

Weekly, per profileOrdered by impactWritten in plain language

## The short answer
Smart Tasks turns each profile audit into a short to-do list, in priority order. Every location gets its own, refreshed weekly and written in ordinary words rather than SEO shorthand. It exists because the audit already knows which checks failed on each profile, and turning that into an ordered list is a step nobody should have to do by hand.

What it is
## Why a task list instead of a score?
A score tells you how you are doing. It does not tell you what to do, and those are two different problems.

Most owners already suspect their profile could be better. What stops them is not knowing which of the twenty possible improvements to do first.

Smart Tasks answers that. A short list, in order, for this location, this week. Clear it and a fresh one arrives the following week.

Instructions beat scores

01 · Where the tasks come from
## The audit, sorted into areas.
The audit checks each profile across areas like business information, links, hours and attributes, media, services, social profiles and verification.

Anything already complete is marked as fine. Whatever is still missing or wrong becomes the task list.

02 · Ordered by what changes visibility
## Highest impact first, not easiest first.
The list is short and it is in order. The task at the top is the one expected to change visibility most for that location.

A missing primary category counts for more than a missing photo, so the category is what you see first.

03 · One list per location
## Because every branch is missing something different.
Every location gets its own list, because the airport branch is missing services while downtown is missing photos.

A single shared list would hand both of them the same jobs and be wrong for both.

04 · Written for the person doing it
## Written for whoever is doing the fixing.
Tasks say what to add and where, in words anyone on the team understands.

That matters because the person who has ten minutes to update a profile is often not the person who knows the SEO words for what is wrong.

05 · It comes back every week
## Clear the list and get the next one.
The list is rebuilt every week. A profile you finished in March will not stay marked as done once its opening hours are out of date and its photos are years old.

Hours, attributes and photos are the three things that quietly go out of date, so they come back on the list even after you have cleared them once.

FAQ
## Questions people ask

**Q: How are the tasks chosen?**
By expected effect on local visibility. A missing primary category outranks a missing photo, because the category decides which searches you appear in at all, while a photo only affects how you look once you are there.

**Q: How many tasks will I get?**
A short list rather than everything at once. A neglected profile has more to do than a well kept one, and clearing the list makes room for the next set.

**Q: Do all my locations get the same tasks?**
No. A location with plenty of photos but no service list gets a services task, while one with services and no photos gets the opposite. Two branches share a task only when they share the gap.

**Q: What if a task does not apply to us?**
Skip it. The list is a recommendation, and a business that takes no bookings has no reason to add an appointment link.

**Q: Do I need to know local SEO to use it?**
No. The audit does the diagnosis and you do the editing. Each task names the thing to add and where it lives on the profile, so it is ordinary profile work rather than SEO work.

**Q: What happens when I finish the list?**
A new list arrives the following week. On a profile you keep on top of that is often one or two items, and a location with nothing outstanding shows as clear rather than inventing work.
