Analytics connector
# See what happened after somebody clicked through.
Your profile reports views, calls and clicks. Your website reports visits and form fills. Connecting Google Analytics 4, the free Google tool that records what people do on a website, puts both in one place for each location.

GA4 linked per locationTraffic beside profile activityStraight into the report

## The short answer
The analytics connector links a Google Analytics 4 property to a location and shows its website numbers next to that location's profile activity. You get pageviews, visitors, sessions and engagement time, each with the change since the previous period. You also see where the traffic came from, what devices people used, which cities they were in, and which actions they took on the site. It all pulls into the client report with everything else.

What it is
## Why do the two halves of one visit live in two tools?
Profile insights tell you how many people clicked through to the website. That is where Google stops. To see the rest, you have to open a separate tool.

Analytics knows what happened next, but it does not know which of your fifteen locations sent the visitor, so nobody puts the two halves together.

Connecting them per location closes the gap. You see the clicks from one profile and what those same people did on your website, both for the same branch.

Two halves of one visit

01 · Connected per location
## Each branch reports its own traffic.
Analytics is linked for a location rather than for the account as a whole, so each set of numbers belongs to one branch instead of being added into a single company-wide total.

Two branches of the same brand can differ tenfold in traffic, and the account total will read as healthy either way.

02 · The numbers you get
## How many came, and how long they stayed.
How many pages were viewed, how many people visited, how many separate visits there were, and how long the average visitor stayed. Each one is shown with how it moved since last time.

Four thousand visits means nothing until you know it was two thousand last month.

03 · Where the traffic came from
## Search, direct, referral, and AI assistants.
Traffic is broken down by where it came from, so you can see how much arrived from search, how much came direct, how much was referred, and how much came from an AI assistant.

You also see what devices people used, which cities they were in, and how many were visiting for the first time.

04 · What people did on the site
## Form submissions, clicks and transactions.
Visits are the easy half. The connector also shows the actions people took: form submissions, clicks, searches on the site and completed sales, with the change since last time.

A branch with fewer website visitors but more form submissions is doing better than one with crowds who leave without contacting anyone. Only the actions show you that.

05 · It lands in the report
## One document covering both sides.
The website numbers pull into the client report along with the rankings, the reviews and the profile activity, so nobody exports anything from a second tool.

For an agency, that removes the awkward monthly moment when the local SEO report says one thing and the analytics screenshot says another.

FAQ
## Questions people ask

**Q: What do I need to connect it?**
A Google Analytics 4 property for the website and access to it. You link it to the location and the numbers start appearing, with no tag to install on the site.

**Q: Which numbers does it show?**
Two things worth knowing that are not obvious from the list above. Engagement time is the average time a visitor was actually active on the page, not the time the tab sat open. And the city figures come from Analytics, so a share of them will always show as unknown.

**Q: Can each location have its own property?**
Yes. One property per location is the usual setup. If several branches share one website, and therefore one property, you link that same property to each of those locations.

**Q: How current is the data?**
It reflects what was last fetched from your Analytics property, which is recent rather than second by second. For monthly reporting and weekly checks that is more than close enough.

**Q: What if a location has no GA4 property?**
It simply shows as not connected. Everything else works as usual for that location, and you can connect one later.

**Q: Does it replace Google Analytics?**
No. It brings the numbers that matter for local work next to your profile activity and into the client report. Deep analysis still belongs in Analytics itself.

## Your profile counts the click. Analytics counts what came after it.
Link Analytics per location, read profile activity and website results in one place, and send both in the same report. From $5.33 per location each month, three day trial.
