# What would you like to ask?
Four kinds of message reach us most weeks. Tell us which one yours is and you will get a useful answer much faster.

01 · The most common message, and usually the quickest to sort out.
## A number does not look right

Tell us the location, the keyword, and what you expected to see. Nine times out of ten the answer is personalisation. Your own search is shaped by your account, your history and where you are standing. The scan has none of that, on purpose. We would rather explain why the two differ than have you quietly stop trusting the numbers.

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Include the location and keyword

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Say what you expected and what you saw

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Mention where you were when you checked

02 · You get a straight answer, including what it cannot do.
## How does the measurement actually work

Grid size, how far apart the points sit, and how often results refresh. What the average does and does not mean. Why one check from one spot tells you so little. If a number comes with a catch, we would rather tell you now than have you find it later. Ask anything. None of the method is secret.

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Ask about grid size and spacing

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Ask what a figure excludes

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Ask why we recommend a cadence

03 · Three details are usually enough for us to repeat it.
## Something is behaving oddly

Name the tool, the exact thing you typed, and what happened instead. That is almost always enough. Screenshots help but are rarely needed. If it is a rate limit rather than a fault, we will say so plainly.

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Name the tool

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Give the exact input used

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Say what happened instead

04 · Above about a hundred locations the setup works differently.
## A portfolio larger than the standard setup

Agency books, franchise estates and anything where locations sit across several clients need a conversation first. How the locations are grouped, who needs access to what, and which reports go to whom. The price per location does not change. The way it is set up does.

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Say roughly how many locations

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Say how they are grouped

[Include](mailto:support@localrankchecker.co)Say who needs access

There is no premium support plan, so there is no standard one either. A single location and a hundred reach the same place.

Not sure the measurement would tell you anything? Run one and find out. The free tools need no account. One grid reading for one keyword usually answers it faster than we can.

## Or take a reading first and ask afterwards.
Most questions about the data answer themselves once there is a distribution to look at.
